Understand the diversity of Portland through food

Portland is booming with fantastic food both on the street and in restaurants that reflect the city's multiculturalism. You can find almost any type of food in every neighborhood.

In 2000, foreign born residents constituted 12 percent of metro Portland’s total population and its immigrant population growth rate is more than double the national average.

Sample your favorite food cart and eat your way into a new understanding of the diversity of Portland. Eat at a new restaurant that serves food from one of our refugee populations. Find out if they hold events that you could attend to learn more.
