Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. dreamed of freedom and justice for all. He knew that when people join together they can make the world a better place.

Every single one of us can help bring change, whether that means equal access to a seat on the bus in Montgomery, Alabama or the ability of families around the world to guarantee regular and reliable access to food for their children.

On January 19, answer President Obama's call to service. Join the large number of energized and organized Americans that will participate in service projects to bring Dr King's dream to life. Volunteer in your community, go online and lend your skills to those thousands of miles away, or sign a petition.

Give a minute, an hour, a day, a week, a month or even a year. But honor Dr. King's memory. Pledge to fight against hunger and poverty and the forces of inequality, whether across town or across the world.
