Pader district, Northern Uganda, is experiencing the aftermath of twenty-three years of civil war. The civilian population is faced with the challenge of resolving conflicts including land disputes, gender-based violence and cattle rustling. Mercy Corps, in trying to address these issues, is now facilitating conflict mitigation and management programs.
