Stop Doing Business As Usual: Serve Fair Trade Coffee

I dedicate myself to the consumption of fair trade products in my daily life.

I recognize that providing a fair wage for small-scale producers improves their standard of living and helps to eliminate poverty and hunger in the developing world.

I further understand that production under fair trade practices is socially just and environmentally responsible, and strive to encourage such practices in my own community and throughout the world.

I will actively seek out fair trade goods, such as coffee, tea, sugar, and rice, and encourage their use in my community and the businesses I support, as a way of further engaging a global community of activists.

Therefore, I will make a conscious effort to support fair trade practices today, and throughout my life, starting with my daily cup of coffee and urge my office to stop doing business as usual and serve Fair Trade certified coffee.
